Response to brief

After  reading the brief I understand that this section in our course will require us to produce, 5 episode series running at five minutes each episode. There will be two teams put into place for the production to run at a fast rate because of our short production schedule up to our filming days. These teams will be; The writing who will be working with Lilie Ferrari in pre-production planning, writing and editing the scripts, and the Crowd funding team were given the goal to achieve 2500 pound by using crowdfunder and makig promotional material in order to achieve the funding goal. To decide what teams we shall be put in we have to pitch to our teachers what role we would like to be involved in for the script writing and crowd funding process. After the scripts have been developed and edited and the crowdfunding team have finished their campaign we will be given our production roles which we will previously pitch before to decide what roles which much suit us and fit to our creative skills. When we are assigned our roles we will have to perform various tasks for our pre-production catered specifically to our roles needed for the pre-production process and when pre-production is finished we will then film at our location for 3 days in total during filming we will all be performing our production roles for up to 10 hours per day. After production is finished we will be split into small groups editing together the episodes for a week and then after they are all finished they will be distributed and put onto YouTube. For our research depending on what team i will be chosen to be in I will have to look into my specialist area looking into resources that will help me improve my experimentation and creative process. When researching for my production role I will have to research into my specific role and other roles in order to understand how to perform my role and how other will be performing their roles. After looking into the brief I feel that along with this work and my independent client it will very difficult to a level of consistency between both projects, but I believe if me and the rest of the group keep our concentration and perform to the best of our abilities we can create the best production possible.
